     THE CHAIRMANS MESSAGE
The Heart of England Way Association is a membership body to support and keep open (user friendly) the 100 miles Heart of England Way, and the 26 mile Arden Way.

Part of our work involves VOLUNTEERS WARDENS for both routes and also a walks programme open to all. We approciate the support we have from our members and ask that if you enjoyed the Arden Way or Heart of England Way consider becoming a supporter.

In 2008 we created and published the first of our new guides - for The Arden Way the NEW GUIDE became available in the summer and is selling well -at £3.50 inc postage. We have progress with the installation of benches and hopefully soon an interpretation panel at Meriden - the real Heart of England. We also have established a WEB SITE for The Arden Way to help give it prominent identity.

In 2009 we will instal the new information panel at Meriden as said above and hopefully also at Milford Common where the Heart of England Way starts or finishes!
